WELCOME

I am Monalisa Weber

FOUNDER OF PROBATION STATION

I'M SPECIALIZED

With 1st hand experience mentoring incarcerated youth for several years, I've witnessed the lack of nutrition, hunger and desperation that leads to behavioral problems.

Children who live in food-insecure homes are more agitated, likely to get sick, have a harder time recovering from sickness and experience behavior problems. If the proper amount of food is not provided they experience trouble concentrating in school and may misbehave more often or have emotional challenges, which may lead to detention and/or entry into the criminal system.

ABOUT ME

I AM AN ACTIVIST, EDUCATOR & SPEAKER

I use my knowledge of the probation and criminal justice system to assist with preparation, documentation and case court organization. My misssion along the way is to impart knowledge and educate those who need help the most, to understand the criminal justice system process.

I was introduced to the criminal justice system in 1999, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University. Since June 2014, I've created and curated the Probation Station educational radio show.  As a public speaker, for the criminal justice and probation system as well as an organizer for criminal justice system reform, I led a series for the City of Dania Beach, Florida, library community workshop on the Criminal Justice System and Community Supervision.

Probation Station education program focuses on educating the community and those who need it the most by helping to:

  • Understand Early Termination of Probation
  • Understand Modification of Probation
  • Understand Violation of Probation
